How We Install Underground Utilities

Water, sewer, or electrical—we know what each requires. Our team coordinates with utilities and contractors to make it all work smoothly.

  • Utility Mapping & Line Locating

We verify locations before digging to avoid breaks or costly reroutes.

  • Underground Conduit Installation

We install conduits for electrical, communication, and low-voltage lines.

  • Sewer Line Placement

We set lines to proper depth and fall—no guesswork, no rework.

  • Connection Stub-Outs

We make sure every service is ready for the next trade or utility tie-in.

Utility Install FAQs Utilities & Trenching Questions

Underground utilities can feel complicated. These FAQs answer common questions so you can move forward with confidence.

How deep will my utility trenches need to be?

It depends on what we’re installing. Water and sewer typically require 18–24 inches, while power may go deeper depending on code. We’ll make sure it meets local requirements.

Do I need permits for utility installation?

Yes—most utility installations require permits and inspections. The good news? Sagebrush can handle that part for you, so you don’t have to stress over paperwork or delays.

Will you coordinate with utility companies or my contractor?

Absolutely. We regularly work with power, water, and telecom providers, and we’ll make sure everything connects smoothly. If you have a GC or site crew, we’re happy to coordinate with them too.

What if I don’t know where existing lines are?

We’ll call for utility locates and use safe digging practices to avoid damage. If needed, we can work with private locators to identify non-marked lines.
